Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha was transgender at the beginning of her time in high school. Those were difficult years and a lot of stress, however Sasha believed that with the support of his family and the music she could take on anything. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters and have just recently formed the official duo of music. In the past they've performed at various local events, such as open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed the background of Sasha, however Jim and Sasha told their stories in a clip that was shown prior to their performance. Sasha and Jim talked about their favorite music, including how he first began playing guitar when he was six. The father of Sasha is a music instructor, making it easier to learn the art for Sasha. Sasha was a woman born in the United States and was struggling to establish his identity as young. In an Instagram post posted recently Sasha spoke about the difficulties he faced. Jim however, felt overwhelmed by emotion as revealed his inability to remain present in the difficult moments. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a girl when she came into the world. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, turns 19 in 2021. At the time Sasha was in freshman the high school system, he announced as transgender and started transitioning into a male. Sasha shared his Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third transgender person trans gender to have appeared in the program. I'm thrilled to represent this group of people."
