On September 16, the year 1958. Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing actor and schoolteacher, sold automobiles while her father was an automobile salesman. Jennifer, the second of her family's four children was often with her mom for her performances at the theater, and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's divorce occurred at the age of five. Jennifer spent the majority of her youth within British Columbia when her mother relocated there with her four kids. Jennifer did not consider herself a professional although she did have an artistic talent as a kid. When she was in Canada Jennifer was the subject of bullying often. Her interest began to wane in the theater during her high school years. Her mother encouraged her to take on additional roles in different productions. The influence of her mother was to motivate all children in the family to pursue a love of and love for the art. Immediately after that she started taking action.
