Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actor. She has starred in numerous TV shows like "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl called Christy Huddleston. She is also known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing one small part on the television series Father Murphy. After graduating at Yale University she began to take acting seriously with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Besides being an actress, Martin is a skilled photographer as well as a dancer. Martin is the mom of two, and also the face of Lupus. Following her 19-year-old sister's death, Martin has worked to raise awareness about Lupus and its symptoms.
